Records of these ‘tiny horses’ begin from the 1600’s where they were a passion of the nobility. Since then there are many places where they are specially bred.

Thumbelina the smallest horse of the world is just 17″ tall. There are two authorities when it comes to mini horses the American Miniature Horse Association (AMHA) and the American Miniature Horse Registry (AMHR). The height restrictions for a horse to qualify as a miniature horse according AMHA is not more than 34″ at the last hair of the mane, while the AMHR registers these horses as class A while has a class B for those between 34″ to 38″.
These horses are as diverse as their taller counterparts and also have their own miniature horse industry.

Kentucky was great this year , as a horse fan I am a bit sad after the death of Barbaro not only was he my favorite horse but he also came through for me when I bet on him.

The horse racing and betting scene wont be the same without him
